The club's upper level features a spacious reception hall with beautiful hardwood floors, a stage area, and a well-equipped kitchen. The club grounds offer a breathtaking view of the Northwest Arm, with a large deck, expansive lawns, and ample parking space.

The St. Mary's Boat Club is situated on the North-West Arm and was originally constructed in 1905. It was initially used by the St. Mary's Young Men's Temperance & Benevolent Society. In 1919, it was established as the St. Mary's Boat Club (SMBC). After undergoing extensive renovations, it was reopened by the City of Halifax in 1991.
